They are in very good shape, but might have some light surface scratches from equipment being installed and removed. Your equipment should cover them though, and no one would see them. Many high-performance power amplifiers and integrated amplifiers are too bulky and heavy to be supported by traditional stands or racks. This stand is a heavy-duty unit that is designed for the sole purpose of supporting your equipment and acoustically isolating it from external disturbances. Every element of this stand has been designed with the primary goal of enabling your system to perform as well as it can. From the very shape of the rack down to the rubber O-rings covering the spikes, every element has been considered. This is the Hyperspike Vibration Free System, designed by Solidsteel. Manufacturers attempt to minimize internal vibration in their appliances. However, this effort cannot completely protect against disturbances introduced by speakers, subwoofers, and other external factors. This is where a trustworthy stand is essential to playing your media free from disruptions to performance or damage to the equipment. Floor pads are included for protecting hard surfaces from becoming scratched by the spikes.
The SolidSteel Hyperspike HF Series High End Audio Racks are without a doubt the best racks on the market today. The four pillar design is geometrically positioned to give maximum support and minimum physical contact with the surrounding environment. The rack stems are made of high quality solid steel rods, polished by a state of the art process giving a smooth and shimmering finish. In order to provide the necessary modular structure, the frames comprise a central segment of variable length to meet diverse requirements, to which are attached the other elements that make up the rest of the support mechanism. Adding to the technical composition are securing screws, insulating spikes (very strong, beautifully secured, adjustable, strong locking withla clamping screw) and decoupling pads, also made of solid steel. Amongst the elements to be assembled are rubber o-rings, similar to a piston ring with the purpose of improving the fit while reducing the transmission of mechanical energy. This is the traditional Hyperspike Vibration Free System, designed by Solidsteel. The shelves dimensions are actually the largest produced in our range of products for vertical racks. It is available both in flat black, glossy black and in glossy white finish. Each shelf have a weight sustainability of tested 70 Kg (154 lb).
